Calendar of Events

COVID-19 & Inclement Weather Policies Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most State Support Team 1 professional learning opportunities are offered online. When in-person training is necessary, proper sanitation, social distancing, and face covering protocols are utilized. We are carefully monitoring State Support Team health and will notify registrants of any event cancellations or location changes.   When we return to in-person training opportunities, please be mindful of weather conditions. If  hazardous driving conditions exist, call 800-346-8495 after 6:30 a.m. to learn if your workshop is delayed or cancelled. Should you feel conditions are too unsafe to travel, please leave a message to let us know you won’t be attending.

CTE: Career Technical Education Special Education Leaders Meeting @ To Be Announced

The Career Technical Education Special Education Leaders meeting is an opportunity for members to receive updates regarding special education as it relates to Career Tech Education. Members will have the opportunity to network with other professionals working with students with special needs in career tech.

Registration for these meetings is through the Share Site. The Share Site is for career technical education special education leaders who are responsible tor implementing services in their buildings.  The Share Site requires a login and password.  It will be announced at a later date if this event is going to be held as an in-person meeting or as a virtual meeting.

Advance CTE 2021 Spring Meeting @ Virtual

The Advance CTE 2021 Spring Meeting is an opportunity for you to be on the front lines of the milestones, advances, and challenges facing states in Career Technical Education (CTE). Advance CTE will also delve into our new Vision, which will be released in March 2021, that aims to be the standard bearer for the key priorities and direction of CTE for the next decade.
The Spring Meeting provide many opportunities for members to interact, receive support, and gain valuable knowledge to reset and look to the future:
Reconnect: Interactive problem-solving sessions for states on hot button CTE topics and networking event with state and industry counterparts
Reset: Dynamic speakers and sessions on equity and CTE, the future of work, CTE data, communicating CTE, and more!
Reimagine: Vision deep dive and implementation sessions

Virtual PBIS Leadership Forum @ Virtual

The Virtual National PBIS Leadership Forum is a technical assistance activity of the Center on PBIS and provides an opportunity for the Center to share information on the latest applications of PBIS.

The annual forum is designed to support state, regional, and local educational leaders, together with community and family partners, to increase the effectiveness of school environments through PBIS.

The 2021 National PBIS Leadership Forum will be held virtually on October 26-28, 2021.
