The purpose of this meeting is to inform preschool supervisors of early childhood updates and disseminate new early childhood information in order to meet federal IDEA requirements and indicators as they relate to preschool special education indicators 6, 7 and 12 and support the use of standards, curriculum and assessments for all learners. Opportunities to network and participate in topic-specific work groups will be provided.
The meetings will be facilitated by Laura Low, M.A. Lunch is not provided. Contact hours are available.

Three-Day Team Training
This comprehensive three-day training will provide school districts and community school teams with essential elements for implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). The topics covered include exploring school-wide attitudes towards behavior, determining what is already in place in regard to behavior intervention, and choosing next steps.
During the training, teams will begin to develop a district-wide common office discipline referral form, three to five expectations, and a behavior matrix.
This training will be facilitated by Educational Service Center of Lake Erie West and State Support Team 1 staff who are certified to provide PBIS training.
Team Composition
Teams must be composed of at least one administrator along with a variety of teachers and/or related service providers. Additional team members such as paraprofessionals are welcome.
Registration & Information
PBIS Team Training will take place on January 16, January 29, and February 13, 2020. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m.; the training is from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Lunch is not provided. There is no cost for this training. Eighteen [18] contact hours are available for the three-day training.
