Administrators at the district and building level can help build and a school community where teachers and students feel safe to take risks with their teaching and learning. This webinar will explore the following ways administrators can support UDL implementation:
- Create a safe and supportive environment for their educators to take risks and extend their teaching practice
- Encourage and facilitate team collaboration
- Share information about UDL with all stakeholders
- Support the purchase of flexible instructional materials
- Work with district support staff to ensure all teachers and students receive the services needed in the classroom.

- Success bound strategies for building community partnerships and a business advisory council
- Transition plans and transition planning
using the Career Connections Framework with efficacy and efficiency to ensure student enrollment, enlistment, employment, and/or engagement in the community
Each Power Hour will also include an optional 30-minute Q&A and peer-to-peer networking session for participants to share ideas and dive deeper into the content and implementation strategies discussed in the 60-minute presentation.

The 32nd Annual Symposium of the International Dyslexia Association will feature two live-streamed presentations and a pre-recorded collection of interviews. You may choose to attend via live stream from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on February 26, or access the presentation materials on-demand during the month of March.

Symposium will begin with a Keynote Presentation at 8:30 am, followed by the panel discussion, a lunch break, and will conclude with a pre-recorded interview presentation.

About the Ohio Middle Level Association
More than 9500 individuals are members of OMLA. Founded in 1973 by a group of middle level educators, OMLA is the fastest growing professional organization in Ohio. Members include people at all levels of the profession–teachers, administrators, supervisors, parents, college personnel, state department officials and students. It is governed by an executive board made up of elected officers and regional representatives. OMLA became affiliated with the National Middle School Association in 1975 and has become the official voice for Ohio’s middle level people.

The Association for Positive Behavior Support will host its 18th International Conference on Positive Behavior Support March 17-19, 2021. Plans for the virtual conference include live streamed sessions, pre-recorded sessions, ignite sessions, the PBIS Film Festival, meet the presenter networking sessions, a poster session and more.
