October is Bullying Prevention Awareness Month

October 1, 2017 all-day

An estimated 160,000 children miss school every day because they fear attack or intimidation by other students, according to the National Education Association. Monday, Oct. 2, is World Day of Bullying Prevention. Consider encouraging your teachers, staff, students and school board members to wear blue shirts to raise awareness of bullying and intimidation, and please plan to share information about this important issue with students, teachers and parents throughout the month.
