New Special Education Administrators Network, Year 2



In the second year of the New Special Education Administrators Network, administrators will move from compliance to best practices to improve coaching, leadership, and the implementation of evidence-based practices to positively impact outcomes for students with disabilities. Participants will work together to build capacity by creating peer-to-peer partnerships while networking through meetings and social media platforms. The network will be facilitated by State Support Team 1 consultant Jackie Jacoby, M.Ed.


Dates & Time

The New Special Education Administrators Network Group, Year 2, will meet from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Three [3] Contact Hours are available for the 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. meeting; participants are invited to bring a lunch for a 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. informal question and answer session.

Meeting Notes

  1. The Year 2 networking cohort for new special education administrators is available only for those administrators who participated in the New Special Education Administrators Meetings during the 2017–2018 school year.
  2. The conference room will be reserved until 4:00 p.m. for collaborative time with colleagues and consultants.
