Information

Adaptive Schools Training is about developing groups that work to their highest capacity. The work centers on developing the resources and capacities of organizations to respond to the changing needs of students and society. Adaptive Schools training provides a set of tools and strategies to use with adult and students and explains how to use the tools to have effective, efficient adult and student conversations. The training is presented by Michael Dolcemascolo, M.A., CAS.

 

Audience, Dates & Location

This professional development opportunity is for general educators, special education intervention specialists, principals, superintendents, and members of Teacher-Based, Building-Level, and District-Level Teams (TBTs, BLTs, and DLTs).

The four-part series will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on August 1, 2, 8 and 9, 2019. All sessions will be held at BGSU at Levis Commons, located at 1655 N. Wilkinson Way in Perrysburg, Ohio.

Michael Dolcemascolo is the Executive Co-Director of Thinking Collaborative and the former Co-Director of the Center for Adaptive Schools. He is a former English teacher and administrator and holds bachelor degrees in Religious Studies and English from Montclair State University, a master’s degree in Cultural Symbol Systems from Syracuse University’s Department of Religion, and an Educational Administration Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) from the State University of New York (SUNY).
