The State Support Team 1 is pleased to bring Brandon Doubek, Ed.D., back to Region 1! Dr. Doubek will present this session to educators at all levels, from preschool through grade 12, and building- and district-level administrators on June 12, 2019.

Teachers and administrators will leave this presentation will the ability to

  • differentiate between different types of data and their purpose, such as adult implementation, student engagement, student performance, state assessment, formative assessment, and others;
  • distinguish the most important data to guide discussions at the District Leadership Team, Building Leadership Team, and Teacher-Bases Team levels;
  • describe typical methods for aggregating and disaggregating data;
  • simulate each step of the Professional Learning Community process to focus on feedback for the process using content area data; and
  • explore evidence-based teaching and research as instructional improvement strategies.

This session will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on June 12, 2019, at the Educational Service Center of Lake Erie West in Toledo, Ohio.

Brandon Doubek, Ed.D.


Brandon Doubek, Ed.D., is president of EdSuccess, LLC. Dr. Doubek rings more than 27 years of experience to his work as a leader, teacher, professor, consultant, and researcher. He is also a senior partner with Creative Leadership Solutions.

Dr. Doubek has provided seminars and implementation in school and district visits for Creative Unit Design, Overview of the Common Core State Standards for ELA and Math, Assessment Literacy, Performance Based Assessments, District, Building, and Teacher Collaborative Teams, Data Driven Decision Making, Instructional Strategies for Effective Teaching, Nonfiction Writing Across the Curriculum, Response to Intervention, Creative Grading Practices, Differentiated Instruction, Math Pedagogy and the Common Core, Leadership Coaching, and Creative Accountability. He has also modeled instructional and assessment strategies for K-12 classrooms in all content areas.

Dr. Doubek is known for engaging participants and students through humor and breaking down complex ideas into manageable pieces of information that can easily be implemented.
